Joined KKO International

With the entry into KKO Internacional, the Group takes a new step in its international strategy, expanding its presence in the cocoa sector and strengthening the alliances that underpin its global value chain.

Ivory Coast expansion

We added a new factory at the cacao’s origin, ensuring traceability and sustainability, and strengthening our bonds with local cacao-producing communities.

2025

Lúcar Distribution acquired

With this acquisition, we reinforced our presence in North Africa, expanding production capacity and proximity to new markets.

2023

Lacasa KKO Foundation established

We started a new non-profit project to promote and improve development in the Ivory Coast.

Lacasa in Argentina

After more than a decade in the Southern Cone, a subsidiary was set up to strengthen our relationship with customers and markets.

2018

Expansion in Europe

By acquiring Chocolaterie Cacao de Bourgogne in France, Grupo Lacasa expanded its international presence in handmade sweets and confectionery.

2010

Ibercacao

By acquiring Ibercacao, the Group added a third production plant in Quintanar de la Orden (Toledo), reinforcing its leadership in cocoa powder and distribution brands.

1995

Factory in Asturias

The new La Cibeles factory in Asturias reinforced the group’s production capacity, specialising in chocolate bars, pralines and truffles.

1994

Bombones Uña acquired

By acquiring this company located in Valladolid, the Group completed its range with a selection of high-quality chocolates: Bombones Uña.

1992

Mentholín acquired

By acquiring Productos Mauri, the group expanded its catalogue to include Mentolín, a leader in herbal sweets.

1988

Lacasa in Portugal

In order to consolidate its commercial position in Portugal, the company Chocolates Lacasa Portugal was established, with headquarters in Lisbon.

Conguitos acquired

The Group brought in a beloved brand, consolidating it with iconic advertising campaigns and reinforcing its market leadership.

1982

Lacasitos launch

Lacasitos kicked off a new stage, marked by creativity and fun with chocolate.

1943

First praline nougat

In the post-war period, the first praline nougat in history was born. This product defines the essence of who we are, innovative by nature.

1939

Move to Zaragoza

Brothers Joaquín and José María Lacasa moved the factory to Zaragoza. The new location bolstered the company’s growth and brought with it the brand’s first advertising campaign.

1852

Founded in Jaca

The first Chocolates Lacasa factory was established by Antonio Lacasa. A small workshop in Huesca that marked the beginning of a story with over 170 years of chocolate-making tradition.
